What is Pro Musica?
Pro Musica Youth Chorus is an excellent opportunity for home-schooled students to gain choir experience. Students 2nd through 12th grade are placed in an ensemble with others who are similar in age and ability. The smaller class sizes also enable students to receive individualized attention and build meaningful relationships. Students obtain a valuable musical education, develop their vocal skills, and are given rare performance opportunities.
Who are classes for?
Classes are designed for students in kindergarten through high school of any ability. Students are split into classes that enables them to work with students with similar age and ability.
Where are practices held?
Practices are held at First United Church of Oak Park, at 848 Lake Street, Oak Park, IL 60301.
When are practices and performances?
Practices are scheduled for after school hours. Performances vary depending on the ensemble but are typically after a season of rehearsals with additional opportunities around the holidays.
