Description
This high school literature class is loosely aimed at 9th and 10th graders but is open to all high school students. This year’s early high school literature class will focus on world literature. From Europe to Africa to Asia and beyond, there are fascinating things to learn about people and cultures through their writings. In addition, we will find time to read some poetry and fantasy books. There will be an emphasis on essay and research writing, as well as chances to write creatively. And there will be at least one out-of-class opportunity each session, either a field trip or a movie night. View syllabus.
