ASL 101 is a class that will introduce students to the basics of the language and the culture of American Sign Language. The course will help the student develop the skills and knowledge to be able to communicate in American Sign Language. The focus of this course will be on everyday life experiences and use of the language. We will have opportunities to learn more about the deaf community by attending different events to better understand and learn from them. This course is designed for students with no or minimal sign language skills.
