Description
Spanish for Beginners, or Spanish 1: This class will provide basic listening, speaking, and reading skills, as well as basic grammar, aiming at a lot of conversation. My approach is activity-centered strategies such as total physical response, language experience activities (such as learning to conjugate verbs while making guacamole), and holistic instruction (that is, we learn as we do, play, cook, etc.), concentrating on dialogue and conversation practice. Our text reflects my goals for the class: to provide lively fun Spanish learning! I will bring texts to sell for about $30 at the opening picnic (Cheaper to buy through publisher than Amazon).
