Description

Throughout the school year, we will explore the elements of art, famous artists, art techniques, participate in group projects and the students will have consistent opportunities to create freely. The students will work with an array of materials and concepts as we journey through the exciting world of art. Previously, we have explored artists such as Piet Mondrian, Keith Haring, and Alma Woodsey Thomas to name a few. We may revisit these artists and their techniques as well as explore new ones. To ensure a wholesome understanding of art, the bridge class will also explore art history concepts.
